Alive in a Fantasy

Examines fantasy as an orientation toward unavailable life that preserves intensity while spreading deadness through the present. What feels alive in imagination can become a way of refusing contact with what actually exists.

“My life suffocates
Planting seeds of hate
I’ve loved, turned to hate
Trapped far beyond my fate

I give
You take
This life that I forsake
Been cheated of my youth
You turned this lie to truth”

- James, Harvester of Sorrow

Rejecting reality and
Lying to yourself,

Choosing fantasy and
Gaslighting everyone else,

Punishing people who don’t choose your fantasy,
Expanding through control over collective delusion,

Narcissism creates a fake display of strength and growth.

Reality always catches up.

There is no other world to burn.
