About

Devotion to Attention.

I write about the practice of meeting the living world without armour or projection: grief, belonging, aliveness and the courage to see clearly.

This site is a home for essays, poems and field notes from a life of deep inquiry.

My work begins with a simple conviction: that attention is an ethical act. What we are willing to see—within ourselves, in one another and in the world—shapes what becomes possible.

I write because learning to see clearly changed my life.

Over time that inquiry led me into meditation, movement, bodywork, psychology and the natural world. I came to see them all as practices in paying attention.

I’m less interested in self-improvement than in becoming more available to reality as it is.

If something here touches you at the right moment, I would be glad to hear from you.
