Third Eye Chakra: insight

You know me

Chakra Map · Part 6 embodimentspiritualitytransformation

Healing isn’t just abstract — it lives in the body. This series is my attempt to map the lessons of trauma and wholeness onto the seven chakras, weaving together wounds, affirmations, and practices for each one.

Element: Thought

INSIGHT · PERSPECTIVE · CURIOSITY · UNDERSTANDING · DEPTH · PHILOSOPHY · WISDOM · AWARENESS · INTERCONNECTEDNESS OF IT ALL · CONSCIOUS OF THE UNCONSCIOUS · HUMOR · WEIRDNESS · MAGIC · MYSTICISM · MYSTERIOUSNESS · AWE · WONDER · RITUAL · CEREMONY

The Third Eye is the seat of perception — the ability to see beyond appearances into the essence of reality. It’s the place where inner and outer vision meet, where intuition becomes as trustworthy as reason, where we are not only aware of what is happening but why it is happening. When open, it allows us to move through life guided by truth instead of fear or conditioning. When blocked, our sight becomes clouded by confusion, self-deception, and distraction.

Ailments: suspicion, nihilism, cynicism, sarcasm, arrogance, fantasy, absurdity
Other symbols: the cross, the shaman archetype, the pineal gland
Blocked by: feelings of absurdity and escape into fantasy
Targeted by: gaslighting, brainwashing
