Healing isn’t just abstract — it lives in the body. This series is my attempt to map the lessons of trauma and wholeness onto the seven chakras, weaving together wounds, affirmations, and practices for each one.

The sacral chakra is the tide that moves us.
It is the current of energy that gives us the will to rise, the discipline to stay, and the flexibility to flow. It is the place where drive meets joy, where focus meets spontaneity, where strength meets innocence. It is the engine of our vitality — physical, emotional, creative, and erotic.

When it is open, there is a hum in the body, an aliveness that wants to be expressed. You move not because you must, but because life is moving through you. Your desires feel clean, unashamed. You can be fierce without aggression, soft without collapse. You don’t have to chase what’s yours — it comes to you because you are fully here.

When it is blocked, guilt pulls the plug on your energy. The water goes stagnant. You feel passive, distracted, dissociated. You turn to numbing, to scattering yourself thin with distractions. You feel weak not because you lack strength, but because you’ve been cut off from your own source.

Ailments: Guilt, passivity, dissociation, distraction, addiction, ADHD, fragmentation, weakness, laziness, numbness, scatteredness.

Other symbols: Snake, Kundalini.
Blocked by: Guilt.
Targeted by: Blame and accusation.
