Unfurling
Shaping Water (part 1)
Healing feels like trying to shape water — impossible, until you realize you can flow with it. This series is about the practices and metaphors that helped me turn trauma into movement, ritual and life.
As you practice holding pain
with presence
and discipline,
Pain becomes sensitivity,
Discipline becomes curiosity,
Presence becomes movement.
The architecture of tension reveals itself
as a symphony of interconnections.
A fractal wave of coherence unfurls.
Fragments join together.
Cracks close, crevices fill,
Clarity settles.
One node wakes, entire web cascades.
Insight and choice take place
Of automation and reactivity.
The spine cracks like a glow stick.
Every vertebra pops, sparkles and shifts.
Rigid becomes pneumatic.
Ribs rotate inside the fascia.
The chest inhales to unknown capacity.
Dormant becomes electric.
Bones soften and float.
Muscles move like fluid.
Every fiber finds its home.
Alarm turns into alignment.
Chaos into a spiral.
Noise into rhythm.
What was constricted is now flowing.
Blockages are cleared.
No more leakage. No loss.
Old results take a fraction of effort.
The impossible becomes inevitable.
A new equilibrium sets the foundation.
A fresh perspective redefines the orientation,
Every cell pointing forward,
Every atom saying yes.
Where I was bracing, I breathe.
Where I was contracting, I expand.
Where I was afraid, I trust.
The neuron tree unfreezes.
It’s safe to take up space.
New shoots push toward complexity.
The body is a liquid floating in air.
The trickle becomes a current.
The current becomes a vortex.
What was held by tension
is now held by balance.
Aligned and flowing.
Cellular and cosmic.
Effortless and forgiving.
Powerful and unyielding.
