The Paradoxes of Wholeness
The polarity of growth
Healing has taught me that everything has its opposite folded inside it. Safety comes through risk. Freedom comes from discipline. Strength comes from softness. These are the paradoxes I keep relearning.
You have to be able to say fuck it in order to take responsibility.
You have to be able to hurt others in order to keep them safe.
You have to let things die in order to fully live.
You have to allow yourself immaturity in order to grow —
There’s no excellence without mistakes and play.
If you can’t fight, your peace is just helplessness.
If you can’t walk away, your loyalty is just captivity.
If you can’t say no, your yes isn’t worth much.
There’s no greater strength than showing vulnerability.
There's no greater foolishness than showing vulnerability without the strength to back it up.
Toughness won’t last without holding yourself in gentleness and care.
If you fight the past, you stay trapped in it.
The more you accept reality, the more you can change it.
True humility requires knowing your worth.
Safety comes from taking risks.
Freedom comes from discipline.
You can't teach without learning.
You can’t lead without following.
Good enough is often better than perfect.
Mastery requires the full range between the poles.
Fear, trauma and need for control
Trap you on one side —
Keeping your growth superficial and your performance fragile.
Fake it till you make it only goes so far.
