The Path of Fear
And The Path of Love
Pain is where perception is lacking.
Perception shapes your reality.
You run from pain,
You get smaller,
Friction between you and reality increases,
You move against the world,
You end up feeling more pain.
If you accept reality,
If you lean into your pain,
Your perception expands.
You learn that the tiny little dot of discomfort
Was hiding an entire universe behind it.
You adapt,
Friction disappears,
You get bigger,
You fit the world better,
You become integral to it.
You move with it.
The friction is not the world,
It’s an undeveloped perception.
Reality is much more gentle and cooperative
Than the fantasy we create to escape it.
